Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of VeloTools and its licensors. This includes the website design, user interface, branding, and source code.
The VeloTools name, logo, and all related trademarks are the property of VeloTools. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
Open source components — VeloTools uses third-party open-source libraries (such as QRCodeStyling). These components are governed by their respective licenses (MIT, Apache 2.0, etc.) and are not affected by these Terms.
Your rights are not affected — We do not claim any ownership over files, images, invoices, QR codes, or any other content you create or process using the Service. All output belongs entirely to you.

Because VeloTools processes files entirely in your browser without any server-side handling, you retain full ownership and control over all content you process. Specifically:
- We never receive or store copies of files you open or process.
- We claim no license, rights, or interest in any content you process using the Service.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any content you upload to the browser.
- Invoice data saved locally via your browser's localStorage is yours. We cannot access it, and it is deleted when you clear your browser data.
You warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you process using our tools, and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.
Disclaimers
VeloTools does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
- The results of file processing will meet your specific requirements or be error-free.
- Any bugs or security vulnerabilities in the Service will be corrected promptly.
- The Service is free from viruses or other harmful components (though we make every effort to ensure it is).
Always maintain independent backups of important files. Never rely solely on VeloTools for file transformation without retaining originals.

Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VeloTools and its licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, and directors from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your violation of these Terms of Service.
- Your use of the Service, including but not limited to content you process.
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

Third-party services integrated into or alongside VeloTools include Google AdSense (advertising), Google Fonts (typography), and CDN services. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and privacy policy of any third-party website or service you visit. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement of the linked site by VeloTools.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
Because no account is required to use VeloTools, "termination" means restricting access to the Service from your IP address or device in the event of abuse, violation of these Terms, or legal obligation to do so.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting VeloTools at legal@velotools.app. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute within 30 days.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
